Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents as prescribed by our physicians, following established policies and procedures.
  • Audit and record medication administration, identifying potential issues and reporting to the Charge Nurse.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication usage, effectiveness, and any noted adverse actions or side effects.
  • Support a culture of resident-centered care, promoting dignity, respect, and comfort.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills related to medication administration.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the State.
  • Successful completion of a state-approved Medication Aide - Certification (MA-C) program.
  • Current C.N.A and Medication Aide certification in the state.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion.
