As a Cartographer Assistant at Dairyland Power Cooperative, you will be part of a dynamic team that leverages Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to drive business growth and efficiency. You will assist with GIS projects, maintain and implement GIS program functions, and work closely with the GIS team to achieve shared goals.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Cartographer Assistant to join our team in La Crosse, WI. The successful candidate will have a strong background in GIS, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Maintaining and implementing GIS program functions under the direction of the GIS team.
  2. Assisting with GIS projects, including data analysis, mapping, and spatial modeling.
  3. Providing technical support for GIS-related tasks and initiatives.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • A degree in GIS or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ESRI software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
