Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and preventive care throughout the rehabilitation process
- Deliver direct patient care tailored to the specific condition and age of the patient
- Provide training and guidance to clinical staff on treatment protocols and preventive measures
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in the state
- Graduate of an accredited wound ostomy care nurse program with valid state licensure
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the specialty
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred
- Wound Ostomy Care Nurse (WOCN) certification preferred
