A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated and experienced Hospitalist physician to join our team in a growing community near Belmont, NH. As a Locum Tenens physician, you will deliver comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients, managing a caseload of 16-20 patients per day.

You will conduct thorough patient histories, perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses and injuries, and develop effective treatment plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide ongoing medical care throughout a patient's hospitalization.

Collaborate effectively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in hospital operations and contribute to medical education initiatives, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Meditech electronic medical record system.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated physician with an active and unrestricted New Hampshire (NH) medical license. Board-certification in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) is mandatory.

Experience in a hospital setting managing adult medical patients is preferred. Excellent clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and strong clinical foundation in hospital medicine are essential.

The typical schedule consists of 12-hour shifts with a 7-on/7-off block structure. You will rotate call and be expected to work 7 consecutive shifts, ideally for two weeks per month.

This locum tenens opportunity offers a flexible start date as soon as possible and extends for up to three months, with the potential to extend further.

In exchange for your exceptional skills and dedication, we offer a competitive rate of $250-$300 per hour, commensurate with experience.
