Marine Construction Specialist

Bird Construction is seeking a highly skilled Marine Construction Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, including cranes, excavators, and backhoes, to construct marine structures with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and company plans to maintain a safe working environment.
• Operate steel sheet piling, wood, and steel piles, and set timbers and beams with accuracy and efficiency.
• Able to run excavators, backhoes, and loaders with confidence and skill.
• Qualifications:
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience working in marine construction.
  • Must have CCO with LBC and TLL endorsements with a New Jersey crane license.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of rigging and ability to run excavator, backhoe, and loader.
  • Must have a strong work ethic with attention to detail.
  • Barge experience is a plus.
