Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, including labeling and packaging
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication inventory and dispensing
• Perform tasks in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Travel to various locations as needed to support pharmacy operations

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
• Current Texas State Pharmacy Technician Registration
• ASHP IV certification or successful completion of an ACPE/ASHP accredited program within 180 days of hire
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
