Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Event Operations Supervisor to lead our

banquet services and ensure the flawless execution of various events. The Event Operations Supervisor will

be tasked with overseeing a team of banquet personnel, coordinating event arrangements, and delivering

exceptional guest experiences. This position demands strong leadership capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the

ability to excel in a dynamic, high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee banquet services, including event preparations, food and beverage delivery,
and event disassembly.

  • Train, guide, and inspire banquet staff to provide exemplary customer service and uphold
a professional atmosphere.

  • Collaborate with event coordinators and clients to ascertain event specifications, including
timelines, special requests, and dietary needs.

  • Ensure appropriate arrangement of banquet spaces, including table layouts, decorations, audiovisual
equipment, and any other specific requirements for the event.

  • Supervise the service of food and beverages during events, ensuring compliance with quality
standards, presentation criteria, and portion management.

  • Monitor banquet areas throughout events, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and
ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.

  • Assist in developing and implementing banquet service protocols and standards to
enhance efficiency and improve guest satisfaction.

  • Conduct pre-event and post-event evaluations to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and
adherence to safety regulations.

  • Address guest feedback and resolve complaints or issues, ensuring a positive and memorable
experience for all participants.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or training is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in banquet services, preferably in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage service, event arrangements, and banquet operations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize
responsibilities effectively.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients,
guests, and staff at all levels.

  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and guide a team towards
achieving shared objectives.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event
requirements.
