Job Summary

We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at LakeHouse Senior Living. As a CNA, you will provide hands-on care, physical and emotional support to our residents, maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to a designated group of residents, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the shift.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, including skin, behavior, alertness, weight, dietary, and participation in activities.
  • Respond promptly to security system alerts and resident call bells.
  • Notify supervisors and Health Care Coordinators of increased care needs for residents.
  • Assist with continence management and maintain sanitation of resident suites and community restrooms.
  • Serve and collect food trays, reporting meal refusals or loss of appetite.
  • Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
  • Practice good standard care precautions, promoting cleanliness, hygiene, and health.
  • Support residents in maintaining independence, dignity, and physical safety.
  • Participate in and lead activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and eating, as instructed.
  • Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors, and team members.
  • Perform resident laundry as assigned and needed.
Qualifications
  • Certified Nurse's Aid certification preferred.
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
