Janitorial Associate

This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and serviceability of common areas in the store for customers and associates.

• Dust shelves and fixtures, clean windows, and sweep/vacuum as needed.
• Assist in bottle room machine maintenance, empty full bins, and return bins.
• Clean bathrooms daily, sweep and mop floors, sanitize sinks and toilets, and refill paper toiletries.
• Sanitize shopping carts.
• Maintain cleanliness of cart return area and return left behind items back to the shelves.
• Sweep sidewalks free of clutter, trash, and debris; ice/snow removal required during colder temperatures as needed.
• Utilize brooms, mop, floor scrubber, dusters, and general store cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Empty trash cans, inside and outside as needed.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

• High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Good verbal communication skills: ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.
• Good customer service and organizational skills; detail oriented.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required.
