Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Anticipate and respond to guests' needs in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Restock linens, cleaning supplies, and amenities as needed.
  • Perform turndown service and prepare rooms for imminent guest arrival.
  • Assist with cleaning extra rooms above daily quota upon request.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and amenities.
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are inspected, cleaned, and in proper operational conditions.
  • Notify supervisors or engineers of maintenance issues.
  • Inspect and plan for readiness of materials and equipment.
  • Maintain knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and empathy.
  • Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to learn and work within hospitality-specific software systems.
  • Ability to deal effectively with guests, vendors, and team members.
  • Ability to resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing and moving freely about the property for the majority of the shift. You must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. You must also be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently, and squeezing and overhead reaching occasionally.
