As a Surgical Technologist at ThedaCare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services. Your expertise will be essential in preparing and caring for surgical patients, working closely with our medical teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and care of surgical patients, adhering to strict sterile and aseptic techniques.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure seamless surgical procedures.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation tools to facilitate a surgeon's performance.
  • Participate in maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of a surgical technologist training program preferred.
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) is a plus.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification in the Cath Lab are required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move freely in the operating room environment.
