We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Universal Banker to join our team at ESL Federal Credit Union. As a Universal Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing financial transactions, and building long-term relationships with our members.

• Provide excellent customer service by identifying member needs and completing transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Build relationships with members by understanding their financial needs and providing personalized solutions.
• Process financial transactions, including payments, deposits, and withdrawals, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist members with account maintenance, loan applications, and other financial services.
• Stay up-to-date on banking products and services, and educate members on the benefits of our offerings.
• Work collaboratively with the branch team to achieve sales goals and meet business objectives.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in banking and finance.

• One year of experience in sales/service in the financial services industry or a comparable field.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Prior sales experience preferred.
• A high degree of flexibility to support branch needs.
• Proficient in building customer and peer relationships.
• Proficient in PC applications.
• Understanding of banking products and services preferred.
• Notary preferred; if not, obtain within 12 months of filling role.
• Must complete submission of application to the NMLS within the first week of employment and subsequently be successfully registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator through ESL.
