We are currently working with a client in Washington, D.C. who requires an experienced Interventional Radiographer to work as an Interventional Radiographer responsible for performing complex specialized tasks, including operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.

Candidates must possess exceptional efficiency, attention to detail, and a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety. Compassion and sensitivity are essential qualities for this role. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker and able to respond quickly in emergency situations.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions
  • Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems, including McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, and PACS
  • Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification
  • Assist the supervisor in maintaining an adequate level of supplies required for patient care
  • Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam
  • Assist radiologists in performing exams, providing clinical excellence
