Job Summary

The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for performing research and developing algorithms to achieve project requirements, working closely with Agile software teams to develop robust solutions for our customers.

This role requires a strong understanding of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms, as well as experience with deep learning frameworks and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  7. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and analytics
Requirements
  • Master's or PhD in Computer science, Statistics, Computational Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
  • High proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • 5+ years of experience in data science or related roles
  • Basic knowledge of drilling or completions operations is preferred
  • Strong understanding of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms
  • Experience working with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib)
  • Knowledge of SQL and database systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment
