About Our Family Medicine Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine professional to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Family Medicine physician assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our outpatient clinics.

Job Summary

This is a full-time opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will be responsible for providing clinical support to healthcare professionals, facilitating efficient patient flow, and performing administrative duties. Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of quality patient care services.
  • Facilitate efficient patient flow, including preparing patients for visits and providing specific services and education as determined by providers.
  • Perform administrative duties, including maintaining and updating electronic health records and communicating with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, reporting any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department/unit personnel.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program required.
  • 1 year of relevant experience working in a physician practice or healthcare setting preferred.
  • One of the following certifications required within 120 days: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA), or AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Work Environment

This is a full-time opportunity with a 40-hour workweek, working Tuesday to Friday with variable weekends. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
