Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project engineering and related personnel functions and activities, including subcontractor planning and administration.
  • Ensure compliance of project engineering activities with company and contract requirements while supporting the overall construction schedule.
  • Provide technical support for construction efforts, including participation in planning and design, interpretation of designs, application of construction methods, and resolution of design conflicts.
  • Develop, implement, and manage project engineering procedures and other work-controlling documents.
  • Represent the company, project, and/or department during meetings with architects, engineers, clients, and project management.
  • Collaborate with all on-site departments as necessary to resolve issues and ensure construction quality in support of the overall project timeline.
  • Serve as a key technical resource on projects, potentially overseeing one or more small to medium-sized projects.

Qualifications:

  • A four-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and relevant experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in construction engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and a deep understanding of the interdependencies among various functional units.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead a diverse team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
