Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist PRN

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at Children's Hospital Colorado. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound images while accurately demonstrating anatomy and pathology using scanning protocols.
  • Facilitate patient flow daily, including management of STAT/urgent and high-priority patients.
  • Provide age-appropriate care and prepare patients for procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Operate all Ultrasound equipment, including ancillary equipment, following safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with Abdomen (AB) specialty required.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (VT) required within one year of hire.
  • Pediatric Sonography specialty required within two years of hire.
Work Environment:

This position requires frequent exposure to radiation, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease. The ideal candidate will be able to manage stress appropriately and work effectively with others.
