About the RoleThis is a full-time position, starting at 30 hours per week, with the possibility of floating to other nearby locations and working alternating weekends. As a LPN, you will be empowered to provide holistic patient care to your community with support, guidance, collaboration, and a "one store, one team mindset."
Responsibilities- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
- Administer vaccine injections
- Assess patients during intake
- Take vital signs
- Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG, Retinopathy screening
- Perform Point of care testing (including COVID testing)
- Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience
- Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience
- Help meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities
- Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients
- Administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education
- Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record
- Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws and perform Point of Care Testing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required
- Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience preferred. If not experienced, must successfully complete internal phlebotomy training
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Room
