Position Overview:
As a CDL Truck Operator, you will be an essential part of our logistics team, responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods within designated routes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Comply with the company's Safe Driver Code and maintain a valid driver's license in good standing.
2. Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
3. Oversee the maintenance and repair of the truck to guarantee optimal operational performance.
4. Assist in the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
5. Maintain accurate logs of cargo weight, arrival and departure times, and mileage.
6. Complete all necessary documentation accurately to adhere to regulatory standards.
7. Uphold 5S standards to ensure cleanliness and organization in the work environment.
8. Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies to foster a safe and efficient workplace.
9. Work under general supervision while managing moderately complex issues, escalating more complex matters as needed.

Qualifications:
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the necessary endorsements.

Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to interpret and follow work instructions effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Decision-making and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
