We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate patient records.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate pharmacy systems, including the use of automated dispensing systems and cash registers.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
- Assist with clinical services, including the collection and labeling of blood/urine samples, and the coordination of clinical services with external providers.
- PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico)
- One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
- Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens
- Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling
- Prefer good computer skills
- Prefer knowledge of store inventory control
- Prefer PTCB certification
