At FS8, we are guided by eight foundational elements that foster functional strength, built upon four primary workout styles: FS8 Original, FS8 Blast, FS8 Remix, and FS8 Restore.
Each session is meticulously crafted based on these principles, developed in collaboration with top fitness professionals to empower individuals with strength and confidence.
FS8's distinctive circuit-style workouts feature a curated selection of over 5,000 exercises, ensuring that participants experience variety with every visit.
We pride ourselves on results-driven and community-focused training that delivers tangible outcomes.
Position Overview:
FS8 is currently seeking a passionate Pilates Instructor to provide an exceptional workout experience at our flagship studio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Conduct Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, Tone, and Yoga classes for groups.
- Ensure the safe and proper use of various equipment, including dumbbells, Reformers, Springboards, and Magic Circles, to create a secure yet innovative group environment.
- Inspect equipment prior to classes to confirm safety and functionality.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization according to management standards.
- Engage in community networking events and studio promotions to attract new clientele.
- Adhere to FS8 brand and athletic standards consistently.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required certifications include Mat and Reformer training; candidates with a comprehensive 450-hour Pilates education will be prioritized.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong anatomical knowledge with a focus on safety.
- Excellent customer service capabilities.
- Experience leading groups of six or more in apparatus-based classes.
- Proven ability in group reformer instruction.
- Professional communication skills.
- Deep understanding of the benefits of Pilates, Tone, and Yoga.
- Willingness to adapt to new trends in the fitness industry.
- Comfort in incorporating Yoga, Trigger Point, and Foam Roller techniques into classes.
- Commitment to ongoing education and training.
- Punctual and dependable.
