We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Vohra Wound Physicians. As a key member of our post-acute care team, you will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of our experienced physicians and wound care nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Assist our physicians with bedside rounds, including troubleshooting and facilitating efficiency during rounds.
- Provide hands-on assistance with wound care, including incontinence care, dressing application, and full body skin exams.
- Take accurate notes during rounds, including wound measurements, locations, and treatment plans.
- Assist with telemedicine visits and use of camera for video conference.
- Dispose of soiled dressings following infection control standards of practice.
- Ensure patients are positioned comfortably and offloading devices are in place after consults.
- Communicate effectively with wound nurses and physicians to ensure seamless care.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) in good standing with the State.
- Ability to relate positively to facility staff, patients/residents, and families.
- Must meet local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam if required.
- Regular attendance and ability to travel to partner facilities.
- Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is preferred.
