Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of procedures applying ionizing radiation, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify patients and procedures, communicating effectively with nursing and physician staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of exams.
  • Position patients accurately for all CT procedures, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and pathology to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Operate the PACS system, verifying studies before sending to archive and reporting equipment problems to supervisor and in-charge tech.
  • Perform warm-up calibrations as needed, maintaining competency in working in the CT department.
  • Assist other technologists when not busy in assigned CT room, training co-workers and students as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification in CT.
  • ARRT Registered and registered in CT.
  • CPR certified.
  • SCQRSA License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3D Imaging preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier).
  • Data entry.
