Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at VocoVision. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting remote assessments and evaluations of patients, providing oversight and guidance to a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), and reviewing and approving treatment plans and documentation created by the SLPA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct remote assessments and evaluations of patients as required.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to an SLPA, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and best practices.
  • Review and approve treatment plans and documentation created by the SLPA.
  • Offer regular feedback and professional development support to enhance the SLPAs skills.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and supervision activities.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and supervision outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Virginia.
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology; experience supervising or mentoring SLPAs is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in teletherapy platforms, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and effective in managing time.
