Project Superintendent Opportunity

Ellison Construction Company is seeking a seasoned Project Superintendent to lead our multifamily construction projects. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of our projects, from job organization to cost control and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project logistics plans, Quality Assurance Programs, and Site Safety Plans
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to review and understand project financial information
  • Manage all aspects of the building process, recommending techniques and details for building skin systems
  • Prepare and update Work Progress Schedules, providing monthly updates and assisting with weekly look-ahead schedules
  • Develop accurate project schedules, provide monthly updates, and assist with weekly look-ahead schedules using company software
  • Prepare detailed look-ahead schedules with subcontractors and vendors through weekly coordination meetings
  • Understand and execute project permitting procedures
  • Collaborate with Project Managers in subcontractor buy-out processes, development of appropriate subcontract scopes of work, and bid packages
  • Efficiently delegate work to project team members
  • Learn and understand the interview process for prospective projects
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience as a superintendent in multifamily construction
  • College graduate with a relevant degree or equivalent field experience
  • Experience using Excel, Procore, and Bluebeam comparable construction technologies is a plus
