We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ultrasound fellowship-trained Emergency Medicine physician to lead our Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship program at Geisinger Health System. As a Program Director, you will be responsible for enhancing the educational experience of our learners and contributing to the growth of our ultrasound service.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, collaborating with other departments to utilize clinical ultrasound throughout the health system. Our environment is uniquely suited with diverse pathologies, patient populations, and acuities, to educate the best and brightest minds in medicine.
Responsibilities- Lead the Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship program and enhance the educational experience of our learners
- Contribute to the growth of our ultrasound service and collaborate with other departments to utilize clinical ultrasound
- Work in a dynamic and innovative environment with diverse pathologies, patient populations, and acuities
- ABEM or ABOEM board certified
- Fellowship Program Director eligible/certified and or graduated from an EM Ultrasound Fellowship
- Previous fellowship program director or core faculty experience preferred
