We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Full-Time licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at our reputable Rheumatology care center. Our facility is dedicated to providing exceptional care and is equipped with modern amenities to support our patients' needs.

Our center features a team of experienced professionals, including 2 Physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers, along with 11 examination rooms and a state-of-the-art Infusion Suite. We are committed to treating a variety of conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Gout, Osteoporosis, Lupus, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients and review their medical histories.
  • Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including blood tests and imaging studies.
  • Diagnose and recommend treatment plans for autoimmune and arthritic conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and administer IV Infusion Treatments.
  • Maintain precise medical records and manage patient schedules.
  • Communicate health conditions and treatment options to patients.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding health issues and care plans.
  • Monitor patients' overall health and promote wellness.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and research activities.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the supervising physician.

Qualifications:

  • New graduates and seasoned Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with backgrounds in Rheumatology, Orthopedics, or Internal Medicine are encouraged to apply.
  • Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish and English are preferred.
  • Experience with hospital rounding and call rotations is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and patient care standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity in practice.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive demeanor.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and clinical skill enhancement.
  • Possession of a valid Virginia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and DEA registration.
