Beacon Mobility is seeking a skilled Transportation Professional to join our team. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school. Your duties will include transporting children and other passengers, obeying all traffic laws, maintaining a clean and mechanically sound bus, and ensuring the safety of all students. You will also perform inspections of the bus before and after each route, attend safety meetings as required, and have a clean driving record. Benefits include a starting wage of $25.00 an hour, monthly and quarterly attendance bonus, vacation pay, and seven paid holidays. Locations include South Base, West Base, and Skokie Base. As a Route Operator, you will be responsible for transporting clients to and from destinations, arriving at destinations on schedule, fulfilling administrative needs, and researching and planning for traffic, construction, and weather delays. You will also use navigation applications to determine the best route, interact with clients professionally, and ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
