Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
  • Engage in ongoing assessments of patient care quality in collaboration with the management team.
  • Work with subject matter experts to foster a collaborative environment that enhances service and outcomes.
  • Promote a patient-centered approach and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving staff engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Provide input on the recruitment, selection, and training of new staff members.
  • Assist in staff scheduling and manage labor resources in line with patient care needs.
  • Oversee inventory management and assist in the procurement of supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse.
  • Possess an Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.

  • 21-bed acute care unit specializing in cardiac and stroke patients.
  • Nurses are certified in NIH Stroke protocols.
