Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Student Intern plays a vital role in supporting the operations of our Health Care organization. This position provides an opportunity for pharmacy students to gain practical experience and contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Perform medication inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and expiration date monitoring.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide patient education on medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
• Contribute to the maintenance of patient medication profiles and electronic health records.
• Support the pharmacy team in conducting medication reconciliation and medication therapy management activities.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Must be currently enrolled, and in good standing, in a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program.
• Preferred: 1 year of work experience, preferably in a pharmacy-related environment.
