About the Job:

The Flatwater Group is seeking a skilled Pharmacist Specialist to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $125,000.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to manage pharmaceutical services safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will process prescription orders in the IHS Electronic Health Record (EHR), perform comprehensive drug utilization reviews, and provide patient counseling on medication use.

Responsibilities:
  • Process prescription orders in the IHS Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Check for drug-drug and food interactions, contraindications, and warnings; assess renal function
  • Counsel patients on the safe and effective use of medications
  • Review patient profiles, monitor medication therapy, identify medication-related problems, and propose solutions
Requirements:
  • Expertise in pharmaceutical services and medication management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and patients
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate and comprehensive records
  • A current, valid, unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in any U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
