Job Title: Production Manager

KCO Resource Management is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team in our Delaware County NY production facility.

Job Summary:

The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring manufacturing performance, volume, and quality goals are met by utilizing efficient methods, maintaining appropriate staffing and labor cost levels, and overseeing overall management and direction of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure compliance with workplace and government-mandated standards (FDA, USDA, OSHA, etc.) and maintain all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership and Development: Provide direction, leadership, development, and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, on-the-job assignments, and continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Production Scheduling and Management: Meet production schedules to achieve business goals and direct adjustments of the manufacturing processes to maintain conformance with standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Manufacturing Data Analysis: Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and identify and utilize methods to assure manufacturing processes are more efficient and effective.

Requirements:

  • Education: BA/BS Degree in Business or related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry required, with 3+ years of experience in dairy/cheese experience preferred.
  • Leadership Experience: 6+ years of experience leading direct reporting team members is required.
  • Communication and Training Skills: Ability to lead, coach, influence, motivate, develop, engage, and retain a large team of hourly associates, and ability to work effectively with a wide array of plant personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management.
