We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Leader to join our team as a Program Director for our Internal Medicine residency program in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities- Develop and lead our new Internal Medicine residency program
- Assist with curriculum development and implementation
- Mentor and supervise residents
- Certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM)
- At least 3 years of documented educational and/or administrative experience
- Ongoing clinical activity
- Strong administrative and team building skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Competitive salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per year
- HCA/St. David's Healthcare employed position
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision and 401k with matching
- CME and dues allowance
St. David's Medical Center is a 438-bed multi-specialty, acute care hospital located just north of downtown and the University of Texas campus. We offer a range of services, including Level IV NICU, Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute, and a comprehensive Stroke Center.
