Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical - Renal team at Ascension Providence in Waco, TX. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, implement and monitor patient care plans, and serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (GN) obtained prior to start date or job transfer date is required, or Temporary or Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Texas is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
