Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, disease state management, and patient education.

  • Ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, including compounding, verification, and labeling.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and community partners to promote health and wellness.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and excellence in patient care.

  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to optimize workflow, improve patient satisfaction, and enhance the overall pharmacy experience.

Requirements:

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.

  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.

  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.

  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
