Job Overview

Position Summary

The Flight Operations Scheduler is tasked with the creation, organization, and management of the flight operations timetable to support various flight training sessions, corporate travel, and other flight-related activities. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless communication and coordination among Flight Operations, Executive teams, and other departments within Cirrus Design Corporation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders by adhering to Cirrus Service Essentials and Guiding Principles.
  • Design, coordinate, and uphold an effective, safe, and productive schedule that enables all departments to achieve their objectives while enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Flight Training Account Management team and Flight Operations to modify schedules based on customer needs and operational capacity.
  • Work alongside Fleet Administrators to manage aircraft movements for maintenance and operational requirements.
  • Handle and organize all corporate flight requests to support the travel needs of Sales, Marketing, and Executive teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Cirrus' record-keeping standards, FAA/EASA regulations, and any specific accounting protocols for training events and corporate flights.
  • Foster a culture of safety and quality of life by maintaining a schedule that aligns with FAA regulations and Cirrus policies.
  • Assist in resolving urgent situations involving AOG aircraft or customer events to ensure prompt and effective solutions.
  • Anticipate the needs of pilots on domestic and international missions and facilitate quick resolutions to potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain a flexible capacity and demand model that aligns with the goals of Flight Training Account Management and Flight Operations.
  • Track and schedule pilot currency for company pilots effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and accurately with all stakeholders, including executives and customers, to ensure everyone is informed.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Aviation Management, Business Management, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in scheduling, dispatching, or a similar role.
  • Dispatcher License is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and effective communication skills.
  • Capability to manage stress and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving, resource management, and time management skills.
