Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Vetcelerator. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical services.

• Provide compassionate patient care and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and treatment.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and medical equipment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and support on animal care and health.
• Perform laboratory procedures, including blood draws, urinalyses, and fecal exams.
• Assist with radiology and ultrasound procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed by veterinarians.
• Participate in emergency procedures, including bleeding control and resuscitation.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT or RVT) required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a veterinary technician or assistant preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to lift and restrain animals as needed.
