About the Role:

Texas Health Resources is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in a PRN position. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures, adjusting technique parameters, and processing images. You will also be required to explain procedures to patients, coordinate with scheduling and other modalities, and provide patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging procedures and adjust technique parameters as needed
  • Explain procedures to patients and coordinate with scheduling and other modalities
  • Provide patient care and handle patients with IVs, oxygen, and other devices
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed
  • Maintain equipment and room to sanitary standards
  • Exchange and maintain film badges within designated time frames

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • 1 year medical imaging experience required, 1 year MRI experience preferred
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
  • ARRT (MR) certification required or ARMRT certification
