Job Description

This is a rare chance to work with a distinguished AmLaw 65 firm that offers exceptional written and oral advocacy skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven ability to handle case management from inception to trial.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Bar Admission in California (in good standing).
  • At least 8 years of substantive experience in complex litigation, class actions, and products liability, preferably in a mid-size or large law firm.
  • Strong background in products liability defense, including familiarity with the Song-Beverly Act, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing clients in complex litigation, products liability defense, and class action matters.
  • Drafting and preparing pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
  • Preparing for, taking, and defending depositions, managing document production, and arguing motions.
  • Collaborating with a team of trial lawyers who have experience trying jury trials to verdict in state and federal courts across California.
  • Developing litigation strategies and managing cases throughout their lifecycle, including trial preparation and representation.
