Tact Staff is actively seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Med Surg for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements- Specialty: Med Surg

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift: 12 hours
The shift is scheduled from 7 PM to 7 AM. The contract length is set for 13 weeks. Please ensure that any requested time off is included in your submission, as approvals will not be granted after submission.
A valid NJ or Compact license is required at the time of submission, along with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Experience in Med Surg is essential, and competency in Peritoneal Dialysis is mandatory.
Additional requirements include:
- Floating within skillset
- Availability for every other weekend
- ACLS and OCN certifications preferred
- BLS and NIH certifications required
- Cerner charting experience preferred
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:7, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply. Any color scrubs are acceptable, but please note that fake nails are not permitted, and nails should be kept clean and short.
The campus operates a nicotine-free policy, and a flu vaccine is required for all staff. If the traveler resides within 50 miles of the facility, there will be a reduction in the pay rate.
