Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF/Manufacturing Technician to join our team at iRF Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF manufacturing and a proven track record of success in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of manufacturing operations, including sub-assembly and product final assembly, calibration, and test.
  • Work with engineers to provide a definition of test set-up and calibration tasks.
  • Utilize automated test programs to evaluate product performance against specifications and to collect data demonstrating product performance.
  • Review data and make adjustments to the product 'select at test' components to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Utilize a variety of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, drawings, schematics, and operating or repair manuals.
  • Debug/rebuild manufacturing/test equipment as required.
  • May perform product modifications as directed by manufacturing/test engineers.
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • RF Manufacturing Technician III - must have a minimum of 10 years of experience or the equivalent.
  • RF Manufacturing Technician IV - must have a minimum of 20 years of experience and a strong knowledge of microwave receivers.
  • Must possess a solid understanding and working knowledge of the basics of electronics.
  • Experience with RF test equipment, such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF generators, digital oscilloscopes, frequency meters, and Power meters.
  • Analog and digital troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read schematic diagrams and other engineering documentation.
  • Able to do solder rework using a microscope.
  • Good soldering techniques.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Team-oriented attitude.
  • Previous experience with LabView or desire to learn to write ATE programs to control test equipment and receivers.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time, onsite, day-shift, four days a week, 10-hours a day position with a competitive benefits package.
