Job Summary:
We are a dynamic healthcare organization dedicated to providing quality medical services to the people of Central/Northern Maine. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering primary medical care and emergency treatment to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Primary Medical Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
- Emergency Treatment: Respond to emergency situations and provide timely and effective treatment to patients in need.
- Supervision and Coordination: Engage in appropriate supervision, coordination, and implementation of healthcare programs and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must be licensed in the State of Maine or have the ability to obtain licensure.
- Board Certification: Board certification is required.
- Active DEA License: Must have an active DEA license.
- Residency-trained Pediatricians: Residency-trained pediatricians are preferred.
- Experience with Rural Healthcare: Experience and active support for rural, community-oriented primary care are preferred.
- Ability to Supervise: Ability to provide supervising physician responsibilities to PAs and FNPs.
- Experience with Underserved Populations: Experience working with or willingness to work with underserved populations.
