Position Overview:

This role is tailored for individuals with a strong interest in the water and wastewater sector. You will engage in projects that are essential to community infrastructure, utilizing your expertise in a crucial field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engineering and commissioning assistance for I&C, SCADA, DPCS, and startup/commissioning initiatives within the water/wastewater domain.
  • Collaborate with engineers, construction teams, and various stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Supervise on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage project financials, including budgeting, tracking, and reporting.
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork among project participants.
  • Address and resolve challenges that arise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects within defined scope and budget.
  • Oversee the final commissioning of projects, ensuring all systems are functional and meet specifications.

Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in the construction sector, particularly in water/wastewater projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of water, wastewater, and stormwater systems, including their design, construction, and operational aspects.
  • Proven track record in managing all phases of project lifecycles, from planning through to construction and commissioning.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a knack for coordinating diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential issues.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
