Job Overview: The Regional Loss Prevention Agent is tasked with identifying, documenting, and addressing issues related to theft and asset protection in alignment with company protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform surveillance activities to identify instances of theft, both internal and external, and manage these situations according to established company guidelines.
  • Execute regular inspections of the premises to ensure physical security and safeguard company assets.
  • Oversee closed-circuit television systems, if applicable, to monitor activities.
  • Uphold company policies concerning security and loss prevention practices.
  • Conduct daily audits of stores to assess compliance and security measures.
  • Facilitate employee interviews solely under the direction of the Director of Security and Loss Prevention.
  • Represent the organization in legal proceedings when necessary and provide updates on case outcomes.
  • Notify the Store Director and Director of Security and Loss Prevention of any policy breaches.
  • Maintain and submit all required documentation, including apprehension reports, audits, and weekly summaries.
  • Document hours worked and mileage for reimbursement purposes.
  • Exemplify professionalism and set a positive example for all team members.
  • Adhere to and enforce all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in managing challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Capable of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Adept at accurately assessing situations.
  • Skilled in applying a consistent and fair approach using sound judgment.
  • Competent in maintaining records and documentation.
  • Familiar with operating all necessary equipment for the role.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through abilities.
  • Willingness to travel between locations within the designated region with a valid driver's license.
  • Must meet age requirements as specified by company policy.
