Culinary Expert

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Even Hotel Waco - University Area, an IHG Hotel. As a restaurant cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and presentation specifications
• Ensure that all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented in a visually appealing way
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth service delivery
• Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment
• Strong understanding of kitchen safety and food storage requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate

Compensation: $13 - $16 hourly
