Key Responsibilities- Provide spiritual assessments and develop personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients and families.
- Offer emotional and spiritual support through direct visitation, phone calls, and other forms of communication.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Facilitate meaning-making conversations and provide guidance on advance care planning.
- Document all patient and family encounters in the medical record.
- Participate in the development and delivery of spiritual care programs for staff, students, and the community.
- Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, or a related field.
- Ordination or certification as a chaplain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including on-call hours.
