Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repair work on various material handling equipment, including forklifts and aerial lifts.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Wiese and our clients, ensuring professional representation and exceptional service.
  • Manage your assigned area effectively, treating your responsibilities as a small business.
  • Utilize a company vehicle for job dispatching and maintain communication through your laptop.

Specific Duties

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment at client locations.
  • Install batteries and assess electrical systems.
  • Inspect and evaluate tire conditions.
  • Operate and test various equipment.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn diagnostic and repair techniques.
  • Keep an inventory of parts necessary for your service vehicle.
  • Complete and submit all required documentation promptly.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, including suggesting additional services based on client needs.
  • Effectively manage your workload and schedule.

Qualifications

  • Conduct hazard assessments and uphold high standards of safety and quality.
  • Demonstrate mechanical knowledge through a skills assessment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working at heights exceeding 25 feet.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Provide your own hand tools for the job.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and the ability to learn software for online work orders.
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills, both verbal and non-verbal.

All candidates must undergo a pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, background check, and motor vehicle record check.
