Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our interprofessional care team to provide comprehensive care to patients in emergency situations.
- Utilize therapeutic communication techniques to de-escalate crisis situations and promote patient safety.
- Assist with maintaining and cleaning of equipment and stocking supplies as established on assigned unit.
- Participate in department projects and shared governance activities to drive quality and innovation.
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- One (1) year of previous experience as a Mental Health Technician in a psychiatric/substance abuse setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCRISIS) certification within 30 days of hire.
