Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field assessments and maintain professional interactions with clients.
  • Oversee the security of (DDC) Building Automation System passwords.
  • Engage in building optimization initiatives to enhance energy efficiency.
  • Provide training sessions for maintenance personnel on HVAC operations.
  • Formulate project implementation work plans.
  • Diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues effectively.

Work Location: University Services Building

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction coordination and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with DDC building automation technologies.
  • Understanding of construction site safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in client-focused settings.
  • Over 3 years of experience in the installation of sophisticated HVAC systems.
  • Capability to troubleshoot HVAC system issues utilizing BAS data.
  • Knowledge of University of Iowa's Direct Digital Control systems.
