Middlesex Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in a primary care setting. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply the nursing process with patients and families, integrating principles that reflect sensitivity to their age-specific/developmental needs, gender, culture, religion, psychosocial and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Provide evidence-based, holistic care in a manner that respects the worth and dignity of each individual.
- Practice professional nursing as a licensed practical nurse within the legal and ethical framework established by the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice.
- Assess health needs of patients and perform nursing care in a safe, caring manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Currently licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut.
- Knowledge and skills necessary to assess health needs of patients and perform nursing care in a safe, caring manner.
- Experience in a physician office setting preferred.
